Paint Shop Pro 7 (Graphics designing Advanced Tutorial)

How to make Gradients:

For this tutorial you'll need paint shop pro 7 Jasc's psp 7 or Jasc.com (download trial version)
Ok let's begin!

Now open the psp 7 software.
Open new image with these settings. File - New.

Ok now real thing begins. Click on your gradient pallette as shown in pic to open it. Now click on the gradient color box (first box underneath Styles) which is shown in pic.

Now a dialog box will open up. Click on Edit to make new gradient. Now a new dialog box will pop open.

1. Now click on "New" a small box will open up fill whatever name you like to give to your new gradient and click ok. It would be the name of your new gradient.
2. Click on small button like thing 2 & 3 and select the desired color from color pallete shown with arrow. If you do not find small button 2 & 3 you can create it by clicking under the color bar. You can create more than 3 button too with just a click. Ok so I chose brown color on both 2 number button and on middle 3 number button chose white color.
3. You can see the color bar shows actual gradient color. If you are satisfied with your new gradient color click ok.

Now select the gradient you made, from your gradient pallete and apply it in your image.

For this click on selection tool from your tool pallette. Choose Rectangle from your tool options.

Make a small rectagle in your image and flood fill it with your gradient color. Your gradient should look like this.

That's it you are done! Try different colors and you'll end up with different gradients. Have fun!!
