Paint Shop Pro 7 (Graphics designing Advanced Tutorial)
Splash Background

For this tutorial you'll need Jasc's psp 7 or Jasc.com (download trial version)
Select your own picture or download my picture.
Get Todies filter - Plain Mosaic Blur here.
Get M_coconutice Preset here
Get Vm Natural filter (visman filter) here.
Get Flaming pear's super blade pro software here. You'll need to install plugins to make flaming pear and all the above filter work. Find out how.

Let's begin. Open the picture which you just downloaded in psp 7.
Open new image with 500x500 with transperent background. If you are not familier how look here.
Now copy parrot picture and paste it as new layer in new image. Edit - copy - Paste as new layer.
Now click on Effects - Plugin filter 1 - Todies - Plain mosaic blur with these settings:

Now click on Layer palette right click on current layer - duplicate. (if you do not know how to learn about layers here).
Now click on Image menu - mirror. Now you have two images. With mover tool drag and adjust it side by side.
Now click on black lines of image with wand and select the lines. Do the same thing with other image in different layer. Now your image should look like this.



Now on Layer 1 click on Layer visibility toggel to close it. See red x in Pic.
Now click on Layer menu then Merge - Merge visible. Now you should have two layers.

Make sure that image's black lines are still selected if not select again. Now go to selection menu - invert.
Now click on Effects menu - plugin - flaming pear - super bladepro - select m_coconutice from preset folder. Click ok.



Now duplicate the layer. Now you'll have two images in two layers. Click on Image - Flip. Now with mover tool drag the images and adjust it according to your taste.



Now on Layer 1 click on Layer visibility toggel to close it. See red x in above Pic.
Now merge both layers. Layers - merge - merge visible.
Now click on Effects - plugin filter - vm natural - splash with default settings.
Now click on Layer 1 of Layer palette and flood fill the image with color white.
Now copy the original parrot image and paste it on your picture.
Now your image should look like this.
